Shure SE535 earphones

Shure SE535 are high-end headphones built for high sound quality and compatibility. They use three separate micro-drivers in each bud: a dedicated tweeter and dual woofers. This specialization allows for a more spacious sound with rich and powerful bass.

The over-the-ear configuration and premium fit kit allows for a perfect seal over the ear canal, enabling a sound isolating design that filters out up to 37 decibels of background noise.

The audio cable is fully detachable and uses gold-plated connectors for a higher definition connection. Adapters allow the cord to connect to 1/8 inch, 1/4 inch, or European Airline armrest audio jacks.

$500 headphones aren't for everyone -- and admittedly, you need to be something of an audiophile to have even made it this far into the review, much less consider ever owning a product like the SE535. That said, it's not hype and these aren't expensive just for the sake of being expensive: you will, against all odds, get what you pay for with these things.
